Two Factor Authentication is Coming

Starting Monday 15 September 2025, you'll notice an extra layer of protection when signing in to your uConnected account. Two factor authentication (2FA) will now be required when accessing the uConnected website or any of our mobile apps.

Each time you log in, a one-time verification code will be sent to the email address linked to your account. You'll need to enter this code to complete your sign in. This additional step is quick, simple, and designed to keep your account safe from unauthorised access.

We're making this change because your privacy and security are important to us, and it's also part of new Australian Government requirements for telecommunications services under the Telecommunications Service Provider (Customer Identity Authentication) Determination 2022. What You Need to Do

  • Make sure you can still access the email address linked to your uConnected account.
  • If you no longer use that email address, please contact us before 15 September 2025 to update your details.
  • When prompted at sign in, check your inbox for the verification code and enter it to continue.

Helpful Tips

  • If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam or junk folder.
  • Codes expire after a short time, so request a new one if needed.
