We're excited to announce the delivery of the number one most requested feature by our members: Call Recording. At uConnected, we understand the importance of this feature for both business and personal calls, and we hope you love it.

What is Call Recording?

Call recording is a powerful tool that allows you to record both inbound and outbound calls effortlessly. Whether you're discussing critical business deals, going over details for an event, or simply want to keep a record of your conversations, call recording has got you covered. Once recorded, these calls can be easily accessed and listened to via our user-friendly mobile app or through the Dashboard on your web browser.

How to Enable Call Recording

Getting started with call recording is straightforward:

  1. Ensure you're subscribed to a recharge option that supports call recording.
  2. Log into your uConnected Dashboard
  3. Navigate to Details in the left menu.
  4. Find and toggle the “Call Recording” option, located on the right side or towards the bottom on mobile devices.

Why Use Call Recording?

Call recording offers numerous benefits, including:

  • Documentation: Keep a record of important conversations that you can refer back to, ensuring you don't miss any crucial details.
  • Training and Quality Assurance: Businesses can use call recordings to train staff and improve communication strategies.
  • Legal Compliance: Recordings can serve as evidence in disputes, provided they comply with legal standards.

Important Information to Consider

  • Legal Compliance: Always be mindful of call recording laws, which vary by location. You may need to inform callers about the recording. Our Welcome Greeting feature can help notify inbound callers.
  • Accessing and Downloading: You can access your recordings within 10 minutes of the call ending from the Dashboard or mobile app, and they remain available to download for up to 60 days.
  • Availability and Limitations: This feature is part of selected recharge options. Note that recordings are subject to technical constraints and only calls over 20 seconds can be recorded.
