Signing up for uConnected – the 1300 Number Plans

What are 1300 numbers, and are they the right plan for you? A 1300 number is billed as a local rate, meaning that the charge is the same regardless of if your customers are calling a number in the same town as you, or if it's a call from across the country/forwarded to a mobile phone. This plan is used by many businesses as they help the business look professional and legitimate. Having this attached to your business phone levels up your business presence, as well as inviting more customers to call you due to the rate being affordable for them.

The 1300 Plan has three (3) options that you can choose from, depending on your needs. Here is an overview:

  1. 1300 Basic: This plan offers 600 minutes of inbound calls for a month. This is the plan offered on the free trial. After your free trial, you are able to choose among the listed plans moving forward depending on your call-minute needs.
  2. 1300 Standard: This plan offers 1,000 minutes of inbound calls for a month.
  3. 1300 Complete: This plan offers 1,400 minutes of inbound calls to your uConnected number.

The next question is this; will someone using uConnected for personal calls benefit from a 1300 number? The answer is simple; it depends. If your callers are located across Australia, and they make constant calls to you, then you may need to reconsider choosing this plan. However, maintaining this plan may cost you more than just having the landline. Please note that our plans may change in the future.
