Introducing Link by uConnected

We're excited to introduce Link by uConnected, a new service designed to help families stay connected with loved ones in correctional facilities.

Link has been built for people who need a simple, affordable and compliant way to receive approved calls. It gives members a fixed local number matched to their chosen correctional facility, which can then be shared for call-list approval. Once approved, calls are delivered directly to the Link app.

The service is available for $39 per month and includes unlimited incoming calls to the Link app from the selected facility. There are no complicated call forwarding settings to manage, and the setup process guides members through choosing their facility, receiving their number, and understanding the next steps for approval.

We created Link after listening to feedback from uConnected members who use our services to stay in touch with family and friends. While many members value the flexibility of the broader uConnected platform, we know that some people need a more focused service built specifically for this situation.

The Link app is now available for iPhone and Android. Members can download the app, create an account, select their correctional facility, and receive their local number in just a few guided steps.

Link is currently available for selected facilities across Australia, with more locations being added over time. If a facility is not currently listed, our support team can help confirm availability or provide guidance on future support.
