New Feature: Forward Calls to Multiple Phones

Members enjoying our $49 & $79/month plans can now add up to three numbers to their service. This means that you can add yourself as the first point of contact, but if you're unavailable have the call go to a colleague, or maybe home, then on to your uConnected voicemail. It also means that you could put a colleague as the first point of call and only receive calls when they're unavailable!

Specify one, two or three numbers, if none answer then the call will go to voicemail. Some members use this in conjunction with our Welcome Greeting feature as it means that your customers can hear a customised service greeting followed by hold music while the call is being forwarded to your nominated phone numbers.

It's our special present to you this Christmas!

For inbound calls it works like this:

  1. A customer dials your uConnected phone number and hears ‘ringing'
  2. The first nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  3. If added, the second nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  4. If added, the third nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  5. If none are available, the call goes to uConnected voicemail

If you have a Welcome Greeting it works like this:

  1. A customer dials your uConnected phone number
  2. Your Welcome Greeting plays, then hold music
  3. The first nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  4. If added, the second nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  5. If added, the third nominated phone number rings for 20 seconds
  6. If none are available, the call goes to uConnected voicemail

There are no additional charges to use this new feature, it's simply included in the $49 & $79/month plans. If you'd like to set this up, log into your Dashboard and select Scheduling from the left side of the main menu.

From the entire team here at uConnected, we wish you a safe and happy Christmas. May the new year bring everything you desire!
